Renewal Information Page
There are two types of renewals depending on when you got certified:
Prior to June 1, 2016: 10 Continuing Education Credits (CECs)
As a nationally certified personal trainer you need to complete 10 W.I.T.S. approved courses Continuing Education Credits. We follow the International Association of Continuing Education and Training format. IACET is the highest quality worldwide standard for Continuing Education Units. If you expire you do have a 12-month GRACE PERIOD. There is a $10 a month late fee on top of the $75 normal renewal fee for each month until you turn in your paperwork. **Effective July 1, 2020**– When renewing your Personal Trainer certification on or after July 1, 2020, you will be required to complete at least 3 W.I.T.S. CEC units. This can be from our free webinars or purchased courses or webinars.

We have also approved some select groups that we have approved for W.I.T.S. CECs in our store.
- Current proof of CPR/AED Certification. [online course accepted]
- Completed W.I.T.S. Renewal Application
- Take at least 3 W.I.T.S Store CEC from the webinars/workshop course
