Teachers:

Lori Costa has been passionately involved in the fitness industry for 11 years. Experience and knowledge was gained through working various aspects of fitness and wellness in commercial, private, university and park
district facilities. She graduated from NorthEastern Illinois University in 2000 with a degree in physical education and a minor in health. She moved on to manage the Motorola Wellness Center in Arlington Heights, IL for over three years. Lori currently acts as Vice-President of JumpStart Youth Fitness Enterprises LLC.

Karen M. Rzesutko, MSed started in the fitness industry in 1997 as a group fitness instructor while an English major in college.  Wanting a deeper and thorough understanding of the body, mechanics, and kinesiology, she completed her Master of Science degree in Exercise Physiology from Northern Illinois University in 2001.  Since then she has worked in management in corporate fitness, clinical hospital settings, and in personal training studios.  In fall 2006, she co-founded Escape 2 Fitness Co, which provides in-home and in-office personal training, nutrition, and massage therapy services to clients throughout the Chicagoland area.  With only 20% of Americans meeting basic activity levels for maintaining heart health, there is an ever growing need for health and fitness professionals in the country.  Being an instructor for WITS and sharing knowledge of the industry is a great passion of hers.  She is honored to contribute to the solution to conquering heart disease and improve the lives of potential clients.
