NCCA Accreditation Renewal Approved for W.I.T.S. Certified Personal Trainer Course

NCCA Accreditation - W.I.T.S. The NCCA accreditation renewal for the W.I.T.S. Certified Personal Trainer Course has been approved. W.I.T.S. is the ONLY Fitness Certification to have built out the infrastructure with colleges and universities to offer credentialed national exams as a Certified Personal Trainer for 26 years! In a health and fitness profession, you would assume this is a norm but it is a rarity. All other certifications in the fitness industry only have a written exam to qualify candidates to work in a “hands on business.”

President Jay Del Vecchio sums it up simply; “Our industry is the wild west of health occupational certifications. We want medical recognition but none of our competitors is willing to go the extra half mile to make sure the credential has teeth. I am proud that for 26 years we have set that standard to try to match up with the other true health occupations. We need to know the public at large is safe and effective with their lifestyle changes. We are on the front lines of the obesity crisis. The profession needs to start with real education and training and end with definitive testing in all areas of competency.”
