W.I.T.S. would like to introduce Laurie Gorman. We are excited to have such a tremendous Certified Personal Trainer & health educator work with the future fitness leaders of tomorrow.
“My name is Laurie Gorman from Long Island, New York and I have 37 years of experience in the health and fitness field. My education includes an M.S. in Exercise Physiology from Adelphi University and I will be completing an M.S. in Human Anatomy and Physiology Instructions from New York Chiropractic College, August 2019. I am also in the process of applying for a doctorate in curriculum design and instruction, which I plan to begin, September 2019. In addition, I am certified by the American College of Sports Medicine and American Council on Exercise.
“I currently own and operate a home training business on Long Island and create fitness programs for individuals of all ages and abilities. Additionally, I am an adjunct professor at Nassau Community College in the Physical Education Department and a BLS instructor for the American Heart Association. Although, I am new to W.I.T.S., I have prepared individuals over the years for national certification exams.”
