My name is Kirk Howard. I work full-time as a Tai Chi Therapist at John D. Dingell Veteran Affairs Medical Center in Detroit, MI, part-time as a Fitness Specialist/Personal Trainer/Exercise Instructor at the Dexter Wellness Center in Dexter, MI, and Core Knowledge Instructor/Practical Lab Instructor for World Instructor Training Schools between Washtenaw Community College, Monroe County Community College, and Macomb County Community College. I achieved a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and Management and a Master of Science in Exercise Physiology both from Eastern Michigan University. I am certified through the American College of Sports Medicine as a Clinical Exercise Physiologist, Aquatic Therapy and Rehabilitation Institute Certified, Aquatic Therapy and Rehabilitation Institute as an Ai Chi Trainer, Certified through the Tai Chi for Health Institute as a Tai Chi Instructor for Arthritis, Arthritis part 2, Fall Prevention, and Arthritis Seated, and Certified Brain Injury Specialist through The Academy of Certified Brain Injury Specialist.
