Brandon Thomas has spent years learning and studying the human body. He is on a quest to make people healthier and live better lifestyles one person at a time. Brandon’s goal is to implement his personal training methods into your practice, using the skills he has acquired in exercise evaluation and prescription, assessment, instruction, and coaching, to promote good health and advocacy to help others become great trainers.
Brandon holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Physiology and Sports Science and Chemistry from East Carolina University. He also holds a Master of Science degree in Exercise Science, with a concentration in Rehabilitation Science, from California University at Pennsylvania. Brandon has 14 years of experience in personal training, nutrition, rehabilitation, and strength and conditioning. Brandon holds multiple certifications including National Strength and Conditioning Association- (Strength and Conditioning), American College of Sports Medicine, (Certified Exercise Physiologist, Certified Cancer Exercise Trainer, Certified Personal Trainer), & National Academy of Sports Medicine (Personal Training& Nutrition).
Brandon’s experience includes work with various populations including Obesity, Lupus, Fibromyalgia, Stroke, Heart disease, Diabetes, High Blood Pressure, High Cholesterol, Cystic Fibrosis, Parkinson disease, Cardiac disease, metabolic disease, pulmonary disease, Osteopenia, Osteoporosis, Asthmatic, Cancer, Pre- and Post-menopause, and Arthritis), Sports Specific Training, Pre-natal and post-natal, Pre- and post-rehabilitation, weight loss, Corporate Fitness and Wellness, and Boot camps. He has trained athletes, through strength and conditioning, to compete at high school, collegiate, professional level (NFL, MLB, MLS), and the Olympic level (Track and Field). Brandon was also a runner up trainer for the Biggest Loser TV Show in 2009.
