Alicia Ramos is exceptionally innovative, Senior-level health and wellness management leader with more than ten years success contributing to and creating stellar corporate wellness programs. Solid record leading, training, developing Nutrition and Fitness Programs, and fostering health through quality programming, presentations, evaluations, and performance tracking and coaching with the United States Military and Health Insurance Companies. She graduated with her undergraduate degree in Dietetics & Human Nutrition from New Mexico State University. Currently working towards a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Ms. Ramos is a subject expert of the organization and instruction of professional training and stress management and cognitive behavior change coaching. Lead Facilitator for Seminars and Workshops, Metabolism testing, V02 Max Fitness testing and Exercise Prescription. Alicia Ramos is a successful American College of Sports Medicine Personal Trainer. She is an international virtual health and lifestyle coach for a digital healthy weight loss app Noom.

W.I.T.S. would like to introduce Robin Sauter. We are excited to have such incredible talent serving on our advisory board.
Robin received her W.I.T.S. Personal Trainer Certification in 2011 and completed her internship at Summerville, SC Family YMCA the same year. She has been employed as a personal trainer with Summerville YMCA at the Ponds ever since. In 2016, Robin was promoted to Trainer Supervisor. Her training niche is older adult fitness and she really enjoys the challenges of corrective exercise, balance training and post-physical therapy work.
Robin loves long distance running, spending time with her family and going to the beach.
W.I.T.S. would like to introduce DeAngelo Brown. We are excited to have such a tremendous Certified Personal Trainer & health educator work with the future fitness leaders of tomorrow.
DeAngelo Brown is a nationally renowned athlete and certified personal trainer. Born and raised in Savannah, GA, Brown first gained national attention for football. Brown attended and played nose tackle for the University of Louisville and quickly became a force to fear on the field. Brown wrapped up his collegiate career with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and numerous accolades such as 2016 Team Captain, All ACC 2nd team 2015 and 2016, All ACC Academic Team 2013, 2014, and 2015. Following college, Brown continued his football career with the Tennessee Titans before retiring.
In 2018, Brown founded his business, DB97 Training, with a mission to give back to his hometown community. DB97 Training specializes in high quality personal and athletic training. As the head-trainer, Brown is certified by the American College of Sports Medicine and has worked with some of the area’s prominent names in training such as SCAD’s Sam Carter.
DeAngelo is ACSM certified in personal training, and CPR/AED certified through the American Red Cross.

Matthew Maffei has an extensive and versatile background in the fitness industry. He achieved his masters of science in exercise physiology from Long Island University, and has served as a coach and strength and conditioning advisor. Matthew has over 10 years’ experience in the fitness industry ranging from education, to training, sales and helping new startup companies. Matthew has spent time as an educator in New York City teaching at the American Academy of Personal Training while working at Hanson Fitness. He holds several industry specialist certifications.

“My name is Laurie Gorman from Long Island, New York and I have 37 years of experience in the health and fitness field. My education includes an M.S. in Exercise Physiology from Adelphi University and I will be completing an M.S. in Human Anatomy and Physiology Instructions from New York Chiropractic College, August 2019. I am also in the process of applying for a doctorate in curriculum design and instruction, which I plan to begin, September 2019. W.I.T.S. would like to introduce Matt Grimm as a Certified Personal Trainer course teacher in Tennessee. We are excited to have such a tremendous Certified Personal Trainer & health educator work with the future fitness leaders of tomorrow.
Matt is a personal trainer and strength coach in Nashville. Matt has been a strength coach at the college and high school level over the last 5 years and a personal trainer for 8 years. Matt is currently a strength coach at Valor Collegiate Academy, a charter high school in Nashville, and owns Matt Grimm Performance, LLC a concierge personal training service. Matt and his wife Jazmin are opening Sumner Fitness & Performance a small group personal training gym in Gallatin, TN August 2019.

W.I.T.S. would like to introduce Tiffany Peltier. We are excited to have such a tremendous Certified Personal Trainer & health educator work with the future fitness leaders of tomorrow.
Tiffany M. Peltier received her Personal Trainers Certification in 2008 from the Cooper Institute and a Bachelor’s of Science in Exercise Science in 2017 from American Military University. She is a retired Coast Guard veteran with over 21 years of service. While in the Coast Guard she helped create the Coast Guard Athleticism Program and 8 week fitness program. She currently holds certifications in CrossFit Levels 1 and 2, CrossFit Adaptive Athlete, USA Weightlifting Performance Coach Level 1, NASM Performance Enhancement Specialist, Functional Movement System Specialist, NASM Fitness Nutrition Specialist, Precision Nutrition Level 1, NSPA Sports Nutrition Coach, completing her Metabolic Flexibility Certification and the only neural performance specialist, Z-Health practitioner, in Charleston, SC. Tiffany is an Olympic Lifting Athlete and holds a national record a bronze medal for the snatch, an Olympic lift, in her age group and weight category and ranked 4th in the nation for clean and jerk and overall total. She is currently finishing her Masters in Adult Education and works for a contract company creating training for foreign military. When she’s not at the gym training, coaching or giving nutrition advice, she is remodeling her home, playing with her Yorkie, Bailey, or hanging with the family.

“Tara has been working in the fitness industry since 2005. As a nutritionist, certified personal trainer, corrective exercise specialist, group exercise instructor, and cycling instructor, Tara has helped clients of all backgrounds work to achieve their health and fitness goals.
Tara holds a B.Sc. in Nutrition & Dietetics, a B.Sc. in Biology-Premedical, and a M.Sc. in Health Education. As a teacher, Tara focuses on educating her students to make autonomous decisions in their lives, fitness, and health. Currently, Tara is completing a Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine (2021) at the University of Bridgeport.
Helping others become the strongest versions of themselves possible in all areas of life is a passion for Tara. Teaching the new generation of personal trainers is one way she this zest for life to our fitness industry.
Over the last 25 years of helping fitness leaders and employers, recruiting stands out as the biggest business issue. If 10 trainers are hired today, 8 are leaving the profession within a year due to poor performance. Employers are then chasing to recruit some more trainers. The majority of other certifications only qualify their students with a written exam. This bad standard or cycle expands and makes your business plan worse by doing the same thing over and over. You are W.I.T.S. alumni and you are best of the best when you came out with your certification. W.I.T.S. would like to introduce Dr. Krista Schweers-Ganga. We are excited to have such a tremendous Certified Personal Trainer & health educator work with the future fitness leaders of tomorrow.
Dr. Krista Schweers-Ganga has been a certified athletic trainer since 2005. She is a life-long learner and has her Bachelor’s in Kinesiology – Athletic Training, Masters in Sports Medicine and Injury Studies, and her Doctorate in Educational Leadership. Dr. Schweers-Ganga spent 4 seasons with a minor pro ice hockey team in Southern California as an athletic trainer before moving to the classroom in 2006 to teach Sports Medicine and Athletic Training.
