I have been a fitness instructor and personal trainer for just over 10 years. I started by teaching group fitness classes and as time went on added one on one personal training. I graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a degree in Exercise Science/Sports Medicine. After college I worked as a Fitness Director for a few years. For the past three years I have been working at a sports medicine clinic that specializes in chronic spinal pain. I love watching patients realize that they can work out again and enjoy life after living with pain for so long.
I am an avid runner- I have 4 half marathons under my belt and plan on doing 5 in 2010. 2011 will be the year I finally conquer a full marathon. Fitness has always been a very important part of my life and I love helping others become certified so they can share their knowledge with others.
