Training consists of the following:

5 sessions @ 3 hours each - Core knowledge ......................... 15 hours
5 sessions @ 3 hours each - Practical skill development......... 15 hours
Certification testing -Written & Practical competency...........

   Special Note: Our courses are offered at many colleges, community education centers and health clubs around the country. "It is the only course of its type in the fitness industry." Some courses run week nights 06:30 pm to 09:30 pm on either a Monday / Wednesday or a Tuesday / Thursday schedule. Other courses are on weekends, one (1) day for six (6) hours each week. The main focus is 6 hours a week for six (6) weeks to learn, digest and be able to execute practical skills. The test or certification exam both practical and written are on the 6th week and are included in original tuition costs! Please call 888-330-WITS(9487) for re-test information.

AEROBICS PRACTICAL:

* All of the following involve drills to learn your trade and make your mistakes with your fellow students, rather than on an unsuspecting client.

A Show, Tell, & Do format!

  • Introduction to Music (beats, phrases, etc)
  • Warm ups
  • Review of Moves (grapevine, hustle, etc)
  • Pre-stretches
  • Motivational Techniques (voice and hand cues)
  • Demonstrate Homework from class 1 with student and instructor critiques.
  • Aerobic Cardio Movements
  • Post Aerobic Cool Downs
  • Post Aerobic Stretches
  • Demonstrate Homework from class 2 with student and instructor critiques.
  • Floor & Toning Exercises
  • Flexibility & Final Cool Down Stretches
  • Demonstrate Homework from class 3 with student and instructor critiques.
  • Review all focus points
  • Exam drills
