-Neighborhood year round schools
-Must receive a 70% or better score to pass written test.
-Must receive a 70% or better in each of the five practical
tes categories. If a section is not attained at the 70%,
the student must retest that specific area for certification
completion.
-Retest fees are $50 (set up with the area testers at
a convenient time)
-Any portion of the course may be retaken for review
to retest at no charge for a period of up to 1 year.
-Only 10 students per 1 instructor for quality learning
assurance.

Personal
Trainer Certification:
Whether a career
move or for your own personal knowledge get all the information
you need to become a CERTIFIED PERSONAL TRAINER. This
challenging course is taught over a 5-week period
for better retention and skill competency. The National
Exam is held on the 6th week. Fifteen hours of "hands
on" practical training prepares you to actually
work with clients one on one. Also, fifteen hours of
lectures including, but not limited to, anatomy, exercise
physiology, nutrition, muscle & skeletal injuries,
health screening, etc. This is unlike any other certification
program available. Proof of CPR required & a 20 hour
internship for certification to be issued.
- Fitness Management Certificate Course:
The fitness industry needs managers of all types. Do
you want to own your own fitness company? If
you are a fitness professional and want more,
then our specialists will present the most comprehensive
blueprint ever created for developing, leading, managing,
and operating a successful fitness business. The
6 week course is separated into seven distinct sections. It
represents the primary skill sets needed to succeed

- Introduction
to Personal Training: (a
great consumer course)
Discover how your body works under the stresses
of all types of exercise to learn self-mastery.
Focus
on learning the “how to” of fitness not
just the “why”. Topics include: evaluating
your health and fitness levels, changing health related
behaviors and injury prevention. This course is offered
in conjunction with World Instructor Training Schools
and is a great preparation for the W.I.T.S. fitness
certification courses.
- Group Exercise Certification:
Take the next step and graduate from
being a participant to becoming a CERTIFIED GROUP
EXERCISE
INSTRUCTOR.
Fifteen hours of "hands on" practical
training and 15 hours of theoretical material are
in this
5-week course. The National Exam is held on the
6th week. Practical training will include traditional
style, some cardio-box and step choreography as
well as toning exercises. Say "NO!" to crash
courses and "Yes!" to this 6-week course
for better retention and skill competency. This
is unlike any other certification program available.
Proof of CPR required for certification to be issued.
- Senior
Fitness Instructor Certification:
This unique certification course provides you with
knowledge and practical skills for personal training
of older adult clients. Appropriate exercise program
design, diseases and specific physical conditions
among older adults, are just some of the topics covered
in this 24-hour certification course. Testing results
given, but issuances of certification depends on
proof of current CPR. Prerequisite for issuance of
this certification is a degree and/or a national
certified personal trainer. People wanting to take
the course for their own knowledge are more than
welcome, but may not participate in the final exams.
- Aqua
Fitness Instructor Certification:
Learn all the
theoretical applications of teaching an aquatics exercise
class in 15 hours of lecture. This course will cover
exercise anatomy, exercise physiology, movement analysis,
health screening and much more. Students will receive
a complete understanding of the advantages of water exercise
by participating in 15 hours of practical skill competencies
along with leadership qualities.
- Children's Fitness Specialist:
This unique certification course provides you with
knowledge and practical skills for personal training
and group training for children and youth. Appropriate
exercise program design, fitness testing, and strategies
for teaching children fitness are just some of the
topics covered in this 18-hour certification course.
Practical training will include age-appropriate
traditional style, step choreography, toning exercises
utilizing
weights and parachutes, and plenty of fitness games! This is unlike any certification program available.
Prerequisite for issuance of this certification is
a degree and/or a national certified personal trainer.
People wanting to take the course for their own knowledge
are more than welcome, but may not participate in
the final exams.
